Day 1: Florence Train Station to Florence Hotel

The L'Orologio Hotel in Santa Maria Novella is an oasis of peace in the heart of one of the most famous squares of the capital of Tuscany, where art and social life combine to create an environment in which to relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest. Hotel L'Orologio is decorated with a collection of prized vintage watches and an array of watch-themed art. Guests can sit at the hotel's bar and nibble chocolate watch faces while they wait. Breakfast included. 

Day 2: Day at Leisure

Today is totally free and at leisure. You can take advantage of any optional activities available or simply relax.

Day 3: Tuscany By Bike

How about a change of scenery? A little bit of fresh air, a light breeze and the possibility to see Tuscany from a different perspective. Ride your e-bike under the guidance of an expert escort and enjoy this wonderful experience riding across the Florentine countryside. You will be picked up from the centre of Florence and taken to the Florentine Chianti where the adventure will start. From here, you will ride your bike through beautiful olive groves and past fertile vineyards, you will see and visit Florentine castles and hillside villa estates until you stop for a light lunch at a local Chianti winery, where you will taste some of the local wines.

Note: The tour runs rain or shine. Only in case of heavy rain the tour will not operate. This will be decided upon departure and customers are asked to check in at meeting point in any case, in order to claim for reimbursement. Should heavy rain happen during the tour, a minivan support will be provided. Please be advised that the weather in Florence may differ from that in the countryside.

Day 4: Florence Hotel to Florence Train Station

The hotel was recently built and includes all the facilities and comforts of a 4 star hotel to ensure that our guests enjoy a relaxing stay. Found in a convenient location from which to explore the coast, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with a massage section, a wellness centre with sauna, turkish bath and emotional shower , free outdoor parking, and a parking garage available upon request for a fee. Our friendly staff are pleased to provide information about the sights to explore in the surrounding area. Breakfast included. 

Day 5: Cinque Terre Hiking and Wine (ex Corniglia)

Get off the beaten tracks on an authentic Cinque Terre hiking and wine experience. Starting from Corniglia, you will hike on a very varied path first crossing pine forests and then the famous terraced vineyards. Along the way, enjoy stunning views over the sea and tiny little villages. Then, discover Cinque Terre wine with your expert guide as they explain more than thousand years of history of wine growing in the Cinque Terre region, the dry stone walls and the people. Taste these fine wines during the visit of the traditional wine cellar of the winemaker Luciano and enjoy some local snacks like focaccia or vegetable cakes. The last part of the hike is the long romantic stairway through olive groves down to Manarola.

Day 7: Levanto Hotels to Levanto Train Station

Day 9: Lake Maggiore

Visit the fashionable Stresa and the amazing islands on Lake Maggiore on a half day trip from Milan. Set in Italy's beautiful Lake District just 1.5-hour drive from Milan, Lake Maggiore is surrounded by the majestic Alps and home to some of Italy's most impressive gardens. After some free time for shopping in Stresa, you will take a two-hour panoramic boat cruise on the lake, visiting the Borromean Islands (Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Bella). Enjoy the views of exquisite lakeside villas and lush gardens surrounded by crystal blue waters set amidst the beauty of snow capped alps. Pass the exotic Isola Madre, home to a 20-acre park that is considered one of the most impressive in Italy, then head back in time to the simple life of Isola dei Pescatori where you will have free time to explore, shop or enjoy a light lunch. The next stop will be the luxurious Isola Bella with the elaborate gardens of the Borromean Palace (not included) surrounded by boutiques and cafés housed in grand historic buildings.
